This policy explains how Citzo Enterprises LLC ("Citzo Enterprises," "we," "us," or "our"), operator of Rulder, collects and handles photo and video content depicting beneficiaries as part of the proof-of-delivery process, and how we protect the privacy of the people shown.
This policy concerns photos and videos taken by our field staff of beneficiaries (the people or families a case is intended to help) at the time of delivery. It is separate from, and does not replace, our general Privacy Policy, which covers your own account data as a Rulder user.
Before a photo or video of a beneficiary is used as proof of delivery visible to the Rulder community, field staff are required to obtain the beneficiary's consent (or, where the beneficiary is a minor, the consent of their parent or legal guardian) for that image or video to be captured and shown in connection with the relevant case. A record of that consent is kept by Citzo Enterprises LLC.
Where proof-of-delivery media appears to depict a person under 18 years of age, the face of that individual is blurred by default before the media is shown to Rulder users. A clear, unblurred image of a minor is only published with a separate, specific guardian consent on file.
All proof-of-delivery media is reviewed by Citzo Enterprises LLC staff before it becomes visible to the donor associated with that transaction. Media that raises privacy, dignity, or safety concerns is not published, even if delivery is otherwise verified through other means.
Approved proof-of-delivery media is shown to the Rulder user (donor) associated with that specific transaction, in their own transaction history, as evidence that the funded need was delivered. We may also use approved media, with consent, for the operation and promotion of the Service, consistent with the content license in our Terms of Service.
Approved proof-of-delivery media is retained as part of the permanent transaction record, since it serves as evidence that a funded need was delivered, and is not altered after approval (beyond any blurring applied for minors before publication).
A beneficiary (or their guardian, where applicable) may request that their image be removed from the platform by emailing [email protected] or contacting Citzo Enterprises LLC through the support channel listed in the app. Requests are reviewed and honored where consistent with our recordkeeping and legal obligations.
Separately from the consent process described above, Rulder's systems automatically record technical metadata (such as GPS coordinates, capture timestamp, and a content hash) for uploaded proof-of-delivery photos where available, to help verify authenticity. That technical process is independent of, and does not substitute for, the human consent process described in this policy.
