Privacy Policy

Version 2.1 Published August 29, 2026

Effective date: 29 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Citzo Enterprises LLC, a Wyoming, USA limited liability company ("Citzo Enterprises," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the Rulder mobile application ("Rulder" or the "Service").

1. Information we collect.

Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored securely and never in plain text), and optional profile details you choose to add.

Consent records: a timestamped record of which version of each policy you accepted when you registered, and of any communication preference you later changed.

Transaction information: records of the cases you fund, amounts paid, payment status, and delivery status. We do not store your full payment card details — payment is handled by our payment processor (currently Stripe), which has its own privacy policy.

Report information: if you submit a "Report a Need," we collect the details you provide about the person or family in need, including any photo you attach and the location information you enter.

Proof-of-delivery information: photos and, where applicable, GPS coordinates and capture timestamps associated with delivery proof, collected by field staff as part of fulfilling a case.

Email delivery information: for each message we send you, whether it was delivered, bounced, or reported as spam, and whether your address is on our suppression list. We use this only to keep our email working and to stop mailing addresses that do not want or cannot receive our mail.

Device and usage information: basic technical information such as app version, device type, and general usage patterns, used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we use information.

To operate the Service (processing payments, tracking delivery, generating invoices); to verify reports and prevent fraud or abuse; to send you the service emails and notices described in Section 6; to comply with legal and tax obligations; and to improve the Service.

3. Who we share information with.

Payment processors (currently Stripe), to process payments — we do not receive or store your full card number. Our hosting and database provider (currently Supabase), which stores app data on our behalf under its own security and data-processing terms. Our email service provider, which transmits our email and reports delivery, bounce, and complaint events back to us. Field staff and operational partners, to the extent necessary to fulfill a case (for example, delivery location details). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share or disclose your email address to any third party for that party's own marketing.

4. Data retention.

We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Proof-of-delivery media is retained as part of the permanent transaction record and is not deleted on request, since it serves as evidence that a funded need was actually delivered. Suppression records — the addresses we must not email — are retained after account deletion precisely so that we do not email that address again.

5. Your rights.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise these rights, email [email protected] or use the support channel listed in the app. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first. Some information (for example, transaction and proof-of-delivery records) may need to be retained even after a deletion request, where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes. You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app, or at https://rulder.com/delete-account.html.

6. Email and other communications.

We email you at the address on your account. You give us that address yourself when you register, and you must confirm it by clicking the link in our verification email before your account becomes active — we do not add addresses on your behalf, and we never buy, rent, or otherwise acquire mailing lists.

Service email is part of the Service and continues for as long as your account exists: address verification, password resets you request, payment receipts and invoices, delivery and proof-of-delivery notices, refund notices, security notices, and notices of a new published policy version.

Optional email (product updates and similar) is off unless you turn it on, and every optional message carries a one-click unsubscribe link that works without logging in. Community announcements are sent as push notifications, which you control from your device settings, and can be turned off there.

Full detail — including how we handle bounces and spam complaints, how to reach our abuse address, and how our sending domain is authenticated — is in our Email & Communications Policy.

7. International data transfers.

Rulder's users are located in multiple countries, including Thailand, while our service providers may process and store data in the United States or other countries. By using Rulder, you understand that your information may be transferred to, and processed in, a country other than the one in which you reside, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.

8. Children's privacy.

Rulder accounts are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect account information from children. Beneficiaries depicted in proof-of-delivery media may include minors; see our Media Consent Policy for how we handle that separately from account data.

9. Security.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who can view sensitive data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Cookies and similar technologies.

The Rulder mobile app does not use browser cookies and does not carry third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. The rulder.com website is a static informational site: it sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics or advertising scripts, and does not track visitors across sites. We do not use tracking pixels to record whether you opened an email. If this ever changes, we will publish a new version of this Policy describing what is used and why before the change takes effect.

11. Changes to this Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new published version in the app's Legal & Policies section and on rulder.com, and we will email account holders when a change is material.

12. Contact.
